On Thursday 12th July we will be changing our clinical system from TPP SystmOne to Emis. From Thursday 5th July we will switch off our access to online services such as online appointment booking and online requests for prescriptions.
No prescriptions will be issued on Thursday 12th July. Please ensure you allow for this when ordering your medications.
All prescriptions will be paper prescriptions from the period Thursday 5th July until at least our go live day of Thursday 12th July.
On Thursday 12th July we will close at 1pm and re-open on Friday 13th July at 8am.
On the morning of Thursday 12th July we will only be offering same day appointments.
Our team will have received full training for this new system, however your patience would be gratefully appreciated during this transitional period.
Consultations are by appointment only. Patients with an URGENT problem will be seen on the same day in a 5-minute slot. Routine appointments can be booked in advance and are usually for 10 minutes.
If you are unable to attend an appointment, please cancel your appointment in good time so that it may be offered to a more needy patient. Repeated missed appointments and misuse of urgent appointments can lead to removal from the doctor's list.
Appropriate and considerate use of surgery time ensures all patients can access the doctor or the nurse at the point of need.

A doctor or nurse may phone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice, or that it would be more appropriate to send a nurse, or indeed arrange a hospital attendance.
House visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.
Children with a temperature or a rash are best seen at the surgery as they will be seen and treated sooner than by waiting for a home visit.
Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the Health Centre.
The practice has suitable wheelchair access, a disabled toilet and a parking space for the disabled.
