Important Update to Old Trafford Medical Practice:

On Thursday 12th July we will be changing our clinical system from TPP SystmOne to Emis. From Thursday 5th July we will switch off our access to online services such as online appointment booking and online requests for prescriptions.

No prescriptions will be issued on Thursday 12th July. Please ensure you allow for this when ordering your medications.

All prescriptions will be paper prescriptions from the period Thursday 5th July until at least our go live day of Thursday 12th July.

On Thursday 12th July we will close at 1pm and re-open on Friday 13th July at 8am.

On the morning of Thursday 12th July we will only be offering same day appointments.

Our team will have received full training for this new system, however your patience would be gratefully appreciated during this transitional period.

Old Trafford Medical Practice's (OTMP) Patient Group

We currently have 2 groups who help us to improve our services at the Practice.  We have a Patient Participation Group who have agreed to meet every six months and the OTMP Patient Group is currently a virtual email group consisting of practice staff and currently 18 patients. The aim of the groups is to help patients to have a better understanding of the practice, of its staff and their roles.  We also want to:

  • understand any problems encountered by patients in the surgery or through local NHS services
  • listen to any views, issues or priorities that patients may have
  • devise annual questionnaires with the help of the group to distribute to OTMP's patients
  • listen to any ideas or suggestions for the Patient Group

If you have any further queries, questions or would like to join the group in the future please visit our 'Sign Up' page to contact us.

The results of the last survey can be found in the right hand tab under 'Further Information'.  Meeting minutes, reports and action plans can be found on the "tabs" above within this section.
