Please be aware that we are no longer be accepting prescription requests via email or this website.
In order to request prescriptions, you will need to sign up for online services if you are not already registered. To sign up for online access, please obtain a registration form from Reception. Alternatively, prescription requests can be submitted via your nominated pharmacy. We do not accept requests for medication over the phone.
Online services offer the facility to book, view and cancel appointments, order repeat prescriptions and view your medical record.
Repeat prescriptions may be obtained by:
- via your nominated pharmacy
- by ordering online (if you are not already signed up for online services, please obtain a registration form from reception or a copy can be downloaded here. Two forms of ID are required).
Busy times at the practice are usually Monday and Tuesday mornings.
Your prescription will be sent to your nominated pharmacy within two working days from request. Please allow additional time for your pharmacy to prepare your prescription.
Please use the right hand side of your repeat script form as this ensures against error or omissions.
Patients on long-term treatment are asked to see the doctor regularly. In some cases we can arrange for your prescriptions to be delivered to your home. It is therefore always advisable to have sufficient supply of medicines in hand so that you will not run short. Please note that prescription requests are not accepted over the phone, except in very special circumstances.
Acute prescription requests will be considered ONLY after discussion with the doctor, if available. Antibiotics are not routinely prescribed without prior discussion with the doctor.
